Wayne Jones Company Inc was founded in 1978.

In the late 1990's Wayne Jones Company Inc made a key decision in its branding to make a name change to a new d.b.a. Due to the fact that all the associations that Wayne Jones Co. had managed or was currently managing were automotive related. A decision was made to rebrand the company to Independent Dealer Solutions (IDS).

IDS continues to offer many great programs and services for the automotive industry. Programs include management software, forms, promotional supplies, dealer education classes and seminars, service contracts, and much more.
